Yorba Linda is a great place to live and work because of it's friendly and safe atmosphere.  The city's claim to fame is it's mostly known as the birthplace of former president Richard M. Nixon.

It is also within 40 miles of four airports including Los Angeles International, Ontario International, John Wayne Airport, and Fullerton Municipal.

This beautiful city is graced with some of the finest park and recreation facilities in Orange County. Black Gold Golf Club, an Arthur Hills championship designed golf course, is Orange County's newest premiere golf facility.   The Yorba Linda Parks and Recreation Department offers up an assortment of activities at its 19 local parks. Most parks offer the typical baseball fields and multipurpose open spaces. Equestrian trails, lighted tennis courts, beach volleyball courts, horseshoe pits and gymnasiums also are available.

Yorba Linda is mostly lush and green, keeping it's natural look and beauty preserved for the community's enjoyment.  Nature is seen from all points of this city.  From some areas of the Black Gold golf course (on a clear day), you can see the Pacific Ocean and Catalina.  The scenery is spectacular, and in the winter the snow caps atop the mountains are breathtaking.

Yorba Linda was named after Jose Yorba dating back to 1769. He was part of a Spanish expedition exploring the area currently known as Orange County. Yorba petitioned the King of Spain for a land grant and he purchased 62,000 acres of land which became Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana.
